Construction Crews

All volunteers work in crews of five to ten people. An experienced Crew Leader is assigned to each worksite to oversee crews, teach volunteers what to do, and oversee basic worksite safety.

No building experience is necessary to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers of all skill levels comprise a crew.

Construction days are Tuesdays and Saturdays as scheduled, excepting holidays.

Visit our online volunteer registration by clicking on the link to the right to register for a scheduled build day.

Crew Leaders

Volunteers with construction experience are always needed to help lead home construction and direct other volunteers. Potential Crew Leaders should have a general understanding of construction and good communication skills. Particular experience or skills may be needed depending on the project to be assigned.
